Pernell Gerver was named Gardener of the Year by Organic Gardening magazine. Gerver and his award-winning garden were profiled in the magazine's cover story. Gerver's garden is a collection of over 20 themed gardens including a courtyard garden, shady woodland garden, several water gardens, herb garden, rose garden, perennial garden, rock and wall garden, dwarf conifer garden, island beds, terrace garden, and vegetable garden all with a wide selection of common as well as rare and unusual plants. In this lecture and slide program, he takes you on a guided tour of his award-winning garden. The program shows the evolution of his garden over the years. He shares some of his award-winning techniques with the audience in this colorful program. Included is a question & answer session after the program as well as a plant sale of rare, hard-to-find, and useful plants and gardening products.
