Pernell Gerver's lecture and presentation entitled "Designing a Landscape for Winter Interest" focuses on how to create a garden with winter interest by combining perennials, trees, and shrubs in ways that provide subtle beauty throughout the winter months. Because so much of the gardening year is spent in winter conditions here in New England, it's important to have a landscape that offers interest during the long winter season.
