Magic Lily (also called naked lady) (Lycoris squamigera) (sun to part shade): 18-24", This is a very surprising bulb. In mid to late summer, an 18-24" flower stalk appears above bare ground with no warning. It bears a cluster of trumpet-shaped, lily-like, rosy-lavender flowers that are three to four inches long. Each flower cluster carries four to seven flowers. The flowers have a sweet fragrance. Foliage appears in spring and is up to a foot long and one to two inches wide. Foliage goes dormant in summer. A very nice addition to the late summer and early autumn garden. Spreads to form large colonies and naturalizes well. Plant it in an area of bare ground or in the lawn to show off its unique ability to bloom with just bare stalks. Rare. Each - $12 each or 3 for $34.20 - You save $1.80!
