It has lance-shaped green leaves that have creamy-yellow edges. The color is most evident in spring and early summer and again in autumn. In late summer and into autumn it bears inch-wide, lavender-blue flowers with yellow centers on flower stems that stand about a foot above the foliage. It’s very drought tolerant.
