Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears' Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears' (part sun to shade) - to 6", This dwarf hosta has been named the “Hosta of the Year” for 2008. It forms a dense mound of thick, heart-shaped, blue leaves that are slightly cupped and very thick. The leaves have a very-thin white edge that is most noticeable in spring as the leaves are emerging. Everything about this hosta is small. Its leaves are just under three inches long and two inches wide. Its small, inch-long flowers are pale lavender with stripes and bloom on seven-inch-tall flower stems that stand just above the foliage. Because of its small size, it’s perfect for a rock garden or as an edging plant. A live plant in a 3" pot - $16 each or 3 for $45.60 - You save $2.40!
