Jacob's LadderJacob's Ladder (Polemonium reptans): to 12", This spring-blooming woodland wildflower bears sky-blue flowers on foot-tall stems. The bell-shaped flowers are held in loose clusters and have a slight fragrance. Its foliage forms a small clump. Its leaves are held opposite one another, like rungs on a ladder, giving it its common name. It grows well in moist woods and can often be found growing along the edges of streams.
