Aster tataricusAster tataricus (sun to part shade) - to 72", This is one of the tallest of the autumn-blooming asters, reaching six feet high or more. Atop its stems are large clusters of inch-wide, lavender-blue flowers with large yellow centers. It’s a very-late-blooming aster, beginning to bloom in very late autumn and continuing for several weeks. It’s one of the very last plants to bloom in the garden.
